Today sees another drastic action taken by Nintendo Europe along the bumpy first quarter for the Nintendo 3DS console. Sadly, those whom ordered a 3DS console paid over one hundred pounds more than what the cost of the console is on sale for today. The selling price has reached an all-time-low of just £115.00 online - 50% saving from the SRP back in April 2011. Nintendo have been forced to drop their prices to try and tempt customers into adopting their new 3D games console. The DS series hardware faces stiff competition from mobile devices and other tech gadgets.

An announcement on their website unveiled plans to rebuild good faith amongst early adopter of the new 3D system by means of a Nintendo 3DS ‘Ambassador Programme’; through the remuneration scheme Nintendo shall give away 20 DS games, via the online Nintendo store, to customers who connect their new 3DS console's to the Internet eShop before August 12th 2011.
